Because literature, like baseball, would be a lot less interesting without alcohol.
This week’s beer of the week is: Jefferson’s Reserve Bourbon Barrel Stout

Brewed by: Bluegrass Brewing Company
The Tap: Imagine taking a pint of fine, smooth stout and blending a good-sized shot of excellent bourbon into it. It’s dark and chocolatey, has a very thin head (if any), and is a nice after dinner, before dinner, or sitting-by-the-fireplace brew.
The Coaster: This stout is aged in McLain & Kyne Jefferson’s Reserve bourbon barrels, which gives it that distinctive taste. It also gives it a slightly higher alcohol content (8.5%) than your average beer, but what’s a little extra alcohol between friends? The important thing is that it cures what ails ya, especially if what ails ya is a cold winter night.
Rating: Five pints (out of six)

A good place to go to get this beer?
You might be able to find it at your local beer purveyor’s, if they have a wide selection. If a liquor store in your area has a section for specialty beers they’re also likely to have it.
